Guy Ritchie is re-releasing his Gentlemen for Netflix: trailer

No Matthew McConaughey or Charlie Hunnam in the cast, but Theo James and Giancarlo Esposito.

It’s a criminal drama that promises to be classy! After his 2019 film, Guy Ritchie spring The Gentlemenbut a new version, with new characters and a new story, while maintaining the same cool and scathing tone, like the first trailer:

The filmmaker himself created, wrote and produced this television adaptation of his own film, of which he directed the first two episodes. At the casting, we will now follow Theo James. The star of White Lotus 2 and the saga Divergent will play Eddie Horniman, an aristocrat who inherits the family estate and also a vast drug business! In front of him, there will be Kaya Scodelarioformer star of the franchise Labyrinthas well as Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Peter Serafinowicz, Vinnie Jones and Giancarlo Esposito.

The pitch: “Eddie Horniman suddenly inherits his father’s vast estate, before discovering that she is part of a veritable cannabis empire. To top it all off, dangerous organized crime figures in Britain want their piece of the pie. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to take the gangsters at their own game. But as he gets deeper into crime, he begins to take a liking to it..”
