Halle Berry tries her hand at horror film for Alexandre Aja: trailer

Mother Land (or Never Let Go in original version) promises to be truly dark and terrifying.

Three years after filming Mélanie Laurent in full stress in Oxygenfor Netflix, the French filmmaker Alexandra Aja now points his horror camera at Halle Berry !

Oscar winner will be an anxious mother in horror film Motherland (Or Never Let Go in VO), where the director of The hills Have Eyes (2005) and Piranha 3D (2010) will film the end of the world and scary creatures that don't yet show up in the trailer, but that force families to hang on to their homes… literally.

“Once upon a time there lived a mother and her two sons. They were safe as long as they remained connected to their home…” tease the sober pitch.

Written by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, Motherland will also bring together Matthew Kevin Anderson and Christin Park in the cast.

Motherland will be released in cinemas on September 25, 2024.
