HBO boss gives news of season 3 of Euphoria

Rue still has a few months of vacation ahead of her. The filming of season 3 ofEuphoria is not yet close to arriving. No production date has been set at the moment, confirms HBO boss Casey Bloys in an interview with the American press, just after the Emmy Awards.

The reason ? Zendaya and the other stats of the casting are now very much taken elsewhere! “There are a lot of agendas that we need to align,” says the boss of the channel, confirming that it is becoming complicated to bring the gang together for several months of filming.

But there is no question of giving up Euphoria. Season 3 is well underway and creator Sam Levinson “is busy writing“.

Bloys has read three scripts so far. “Sam is an incredibly talented author; he has a lot in store for these characters and I’m excited.”

Season 3 ofEuphoria will not be broadcast before 2025. Like the sequel to The Last of Us Or The White Lotus, disrupted by last year’s strikes. A paralysis of filming which will have consequences from now on.

“Next year will be a weird year. Because of the strikes, many things have been postponed…“2024 will therefore be a year of transition, and HBO will be banking on True Detective with Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet in The Regime and Robert Downey Jr. in The Sympathizer.
