Hit Man, with Glen Powell, is released today on Netflix, but in France it will be visible elsewhere

Richard Linklater's film has just been acquired by Canal +, and it will not be available immediately…

Building on the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Glen Powell multiplies eclectic projects. After his rom-com Everything except youwhich had some success in theaters at the start of the year, and while waiting to see him again in the action film Twistersthis summer at the cinema, the 35-year-old American actor arrives this week on Netflix in a work mixing these two genres: Hitman. Well, except here, where its programming will differ from other countries…

For Richard Linklater (Boyhood, Rock Academy…), Glen Powell plays a hitman, yes, but romantic, face to face Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising). And he doesn't just play him: Glen co-wrote this project with the filmmaker, building this character alongside him.

Hitman is a big release from the streaming service, but be careful, it will not be visible on the platform in France: here, it is Canal + which has acquired the rights, for broadcast in September as part of the label “Canal + Premieres”. We will therefore have to wait throughout the summer to see Hitman legally, and it won't be on the big screen.
