House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere in summer 2024, but Euphoria won’t return until 2025

The third season of The White Lotus has also been postponed.

HBO sets the record straight and reveals its upcoming schedule, post-Hollywood strike. According to Variety, the CEO of the US channel, Casey Bloys, revealed that season 2 of House of the Dragon will be broadcast during the summer of 2024. A trailer is ready and has even already been shown to American journalists present during the conference. The new episodes will probably reach us from “beginning of summer” or certainly in June 2024, approximately two years after season 1.

I have to say that House of the Dragon had already largely started production before the strike and had the right to finish filming this summer.

Which is not the caseEuphoria. Season 3 of the teenage series worn by Zendaya is far from ready. The boss of HBO is already warning: it will not be released before 2025!

Same cause and same consequences for season 3 of The White Lotus. The new part is officially postponed to 2025 due to production delays caused by the writers’ and actors’ strike. Bloys confirms: “The White Lotus 3 was supposed to be released in 24, but that’s probably only going to happen in 2025 now.”
