How I put your Father canceled! The new series will not have a season 3
The spin-off sequel to How I met your Mother will not last long.
We may never know who the father of How I met your Father… The series broadcast in France on Disney Plus has just been canceled by Hulu after only 2 seasons. It will not have a season 3 a priori. Much to the chagrin of Craig Thomas, co-creator of the original series and producer of the sequel:

How I met your Father has never succeeded in generating the enthusiasm of How I met your Mother. The spin-off with its surprisingly cheesy tone disappointed most fans of Ted Mosby & co… even if it often reached out to them, by integrating as many references as possible! From the Captain to MacLaren’s, from Wesleyan University to “Boats Boats Boats” via the apartment, the new series has multiplied the nods to the old one. Until bringing back some old ones, notably Robin (at the end of season 1) and Barney (in the middle of season 2), who revealed additional information at the end of How I met your Mother.
