Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World? Mark Ruffalo’s new meatball

Mastering the art of spoilers is not an easy thing for actresses and actors in Marvel. Some became masters, but others had difficulty not saying too much. Much trouble. This is the case of Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the MCU, and of course Mark Ruffalothe interpreter of Hulk since the first film Avengers released in 2012.

Despite his 12 years of experience at Marvel, he still can’t do it. A response which instantly became viral on social networks where fans immediately fantasized about a fight between the Hulk and the Red Hulk. Indeed, Harrison Ford will play President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the film, but we know that this character becomes the Red Hulk in the comics.

Mark Ruffalo’s “revelation” was quickly denied. According to “multiple sources” cited by Variety, he will not be in the new Captain America. The actor would have “badly expressed“. He simply agreed that it was one of the next films in the MCU. That’s all. Just before his “dump”, he mentioned the fact that his version of Hulk had never had the right to a solo film .”Is this still true?“, the moderator then asked her. “As far as i know. I could say more but I was told not to“, Ruffalo replied.

Obviously, it is possible that Ruffalo was “poorly expressed”. But his past fuels doubt. In 2017, he literally spoiled Avengers: Infinite War (see video below) announcing that “everyone was going to die” in the film, alongside a dismayed Don Cheadle. The same year, he accidentally launched a live stream during a screening of Thor: Ragnarokthen leaked again Avengers: Endgame in 2019 by announcing Captain America’s marriage. “You can’t be trusted, you run away, it’s like a bodily need“, summed up Chris Evans.

We know that several authors succeeded one another in the scenario of Captain America: Brave New World, which required numerous reshoots. And it wouldn’t be surprising if a fight between the Hulk and Red Hulk, likely to draw fans into theaters, was included in the film. Asked about the monstrous version of Thaddeus Ross last year, Harrison Ford responded with a “What is Red Hulk?” But maybe he just knows how to lie better than Mark Ruffalo…

The release of Captain America 4 is scheduled for February 12, 2025 in France.
