Hunter Schafer in the mysterious Cuckoo teaser
The Euphoria star tries his hand at horror, directed by German director Tilman Singer.
Hunter Schaferdiscovered in the series Euphoria, is now part of the entire young generation of stars who are renewing Hollywood. Recently released in the prequel Hunger Gamesshe diversified her acting palette by trying her hand at horror films in Cuckoo.
Directed by the young German director Tilman Singerthe film tells the story of Gretchen, a young girl leaving the United States to move in with her father in the German Alps.
But once she arrives, strange phenomena begin to disturb her. Her father’s boss, Mr. König, is a little too interested in Gretchen’s mute half-sister, Alma. The young heroine is herself the victim of abnormal noises and bloody visions, as she prepares to discover a dark secret about this inhospitable place.
The film’s teaser is deliberately short and enigmatic. We see the silhouette ofHunter Schafer from behind, ready to fight since she skillfully draws a butterfly knife. This is the second feature film of Tilman SingerAfter Luzhis graduation film having had a small success at festivals. Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) And Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist, Love and Monsters) come to lend a hand to Hunter Schafer to the casting. Cuckoo does not yet have a release date.
