Is Stranger Things just a dream? We already have the answer!
The Duffers respond to a very popular theory among fans.
How will it end Stranger Things ? We don’t know anything yet, but we know it won’t be like that…
A fan theory – long circulating on the networks – suggests that all the events of the series are in fact only imagined plots for the main characters of a very elaborate (and very long) part of Dungeons and Dragons, the favorite game of Hawkins’ heroes. Besides, Will and his friends are in the middle of the game when the story begins, in Mike’s parents’ basement.
The theory is cool, but it’s being dismissed by the Duffers, as of now. “No“, respond the creators of Stranger Thingsat the microphone of Metro, and they explain:
“That would be like saying that this is all just a dream. So no, I can assure you that this is not how we are going to end Stranger Things. We’ve known where we’re going for a while. And we feel comfortable with our ending. I hope this will satisfy everyone. We will see.”
It will be for 2025 on Netflix. Postponed by strikes, the final season 5 of Stranger Things has just launched its production. Filming will begin next January.
