Jack Black Reacts to Mario Critics: ‘What Movie Did They See?’

The actor is preparing his role for the film Minecraft, also adapted from a video game.

We all listened to the hit “Peaches” sung with passion by Jack Black alias Bowser in Super Mario Bros.. This animated blockbuster adapted from Nintendo’s video game license exploded at the global box office with revenue of $1.36 billion and more than 7 million admissions in France last year.

In full preparation of the film Minecraftalso adapted from the video game of the same name, Jack Black explained to Total Film the difference between the two experiences: “They’re both related to video games, but in terms of approach, live action is a very different whole”.
