Jaws in Paris! First poster for the new Netflix film

It will be called Sous la Seine and it’s by Xavier Gens.

Hundreds of swimmers from all over the world will dive into the Seine during the Paris Olympics this summer. But what if the river was haunted by a shark?

This is the pitch of Under the Seinea new Netflix film directed by Xavier Gens (Budapest), which will play with the cult concept of Sea teethby relocating it to the heart of the City of Lights.

The pitch: Sophia, a brilliant scientist, is alerted by Mika, a young activist devoted to ecology, of the presence of a large shark in the depths of the river. They have no choice but to team up with Adil, commander of the river police to avoid a bloodbath in the heart of the city.

Worn by Bérénice Bejo, also with Nassim Lyes and Léa Léviant, Under the Seine will be released this summer on Netflix. Right during the Olympic Games, otherwise it’s not funny!
