A Prime Video film that parodies Two Flics in Miami on Reunion Island.
After parodying The Bachelor And Koh Lanta for Canal Plus, jonathan cohen embarks on a new crazy comedy, this time for Prime Video. In the movie Sentinelhe embodies a police officer, half-cop, half-singer… Trailer:
The pitch introduces us to François Sentinelle, who leads “a double life. During the day, he is the most media-friendly cop on Reunion Island, known for his muscular methods and his flowery shirts, chasing criminals aboard his famous yellow defender. But outside of working hours (and very often during), Sentinelle has another job: charming singer. … without success. But between the police and the music, Sentinelle does not want to choose. While he remains busy with his concerts and the release of his album, a wave of violent crimes shakes the island. A figure of the local elite is kidnapped, another murdered. For any cop, it would be the case of a lifetime. But Sentinelle, all about his music, does not really have the head to investigate.
The trailer promises a bizarre parody of Two Cops in Miamiwith mullet cut, blazer with rolled up sleeves and colorful cars.
Co-directed by Hugo Benamozig and David Caviglioli, the film will also bring together Raphaël Quenard, Emmanuelle Bercot, Gustave Kervern and Ramzy Bedia. Sentinel will be released on September 8 for streaming on Prime Video.
