Jordan Peele’s mysterious next film ultimately won’t be released in 2024

We will still have to be very patient to see Nope’s successor.

The fourth film of Jordan Peele should have been released for Christmas 2024, at the same time as the remake of Nosferatu by Robert Eggers with Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult and Lily-Rose Depp. But Entertainment Weekly has learned that Universal has pulled the film from its schedule, “a decision linked to the strike” of 2023 which has strongly impacted all Hollywood film and series projects.

Exit the new Peele – for now. Universal is not going to let the director’s new project sleep for long Get Out, Us And Nope, a big success in theaters, even if nothing has yet been revealed about this highly anticipated “fourth film”: neither casting, nor synopsis, nor title… and therefore, nor release date. You will have guessed that filming hasn’t even started, so be patient!

Peele does not remain idle: he was recently announced in the credits ofODa mysterious horror project between cinema and video game directed by Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid, Death Stranding) with among others Sophia Lillis and Hunter Schafer. A teaser has already been revealed:
