The two French stars join the voice cast of Blue & Company (IF), a film for the whole family about imaginary friends.

It is “the story of Bee, a young girl who discovers one day through her meeting with Blue that she can see the imaginary friends that everyone has forgotten. Then begins an extraordinary adventure where she will seek to rekindle the flame of the friendships of yesteryear. Among his imaginary friends, each more fanciful than the last, we find a unicorn, a flaming marshmallow, a banana, an ice cube, a soap bubble… headed by Blue the friendly purple monster and Blossom, an elegant butterfly ballerina.”.

“You have to believe it to see it”. This is the mantra of Blue & Companyfamily film carried by John Krasinski and a real dive into the imagination of children, but also (and above all) of adults who have retained the soul of a child. In this coming-of-age, the real mixes with the fabulous thanks to the juxtaposition of computer-generated images and real shots. Fluffy creatures, candid humor, mysterious quest, it's all there, even the touch of madness!

After the horrific diptych Without a soundJohn Krasinski (The Office), takes up his director's hat to offer (big) children a magical adventure. Putting himself on stage, he nevertheless leaves the top of the bill to Ryan Reynoldswho plays Bee's whimsical father, played by Cailey Flemming (Star Wars VI, Star Wars IX, The Walking Dead). They are joined by Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter, Killing Eve), but also (in VO) by the voices of Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Matt Damon And Emily Blunt (among others).

In France, we are also entitled to a five-star casting, since Jose Garcia And Mylène Farmer will be there. Lending his voice to the character of Blue, who expresses his emotions through untimely sneezing, José Garcia, a regular in dubbing rooms (Musha in MulanAlex in MadagascarBruno in Encanto), makes use of this tenderness of which we know he is capable, but also of an unparalleled sense of comedy – which he will also have reason to summon in We, the Leroyswhich will be released in theaters on April 10.

To give him the answer, Mylène Farmerwhose voice we could already hear in the trilogy Arthur and the Minimoys. Icon of French pop culture, the singer plays Blossom, a ballerina butterfly who accompanies the heroes on their adventure. For John Krasinski, she becomes an imaginary friend, she who had already explored this theme in a philosophical tale entitled Lisa-Loup and the Storyteller (2003).

Blue & Company will be released on May 8 in cinemas, to the delight of young and old alike.
