Kevin Costner unveils Horizon, his great epic western in 2 parts: first teaser

An adventure that will explore the Wild West and “how it was won – and lost – through blood, sweat and tears.” Spanning the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, the ambitious cinematic saga of Kevin Costner “will take audiences on an emotional journey through a country at war with itself, experienced through the prism of families, friends and enemies who will all try to discover what the United States of America really is. “

The resigned star of Yellowstone hopes to ride hard on the success of the Paramount + series to attract people to theaters. And he’s going to need it. Because “Chapter 1” of Horizon will be released on June 28, 2024, at the same time as Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2. In other words, fierce competition. “Chapter 2” of Horizon is announced two months later, for August 16, 2024.

let’s remember that Kevin Costner had originally planned to do “four different films” which would be released every three months. We do not yet know if Chapters 3 and 4 will see the light of day. They have not been announced at the moment.

That’s where I was going to build my last house… I did it without thinking. It put my accountant in a fucking mess tantrum. But it’s my life and I believe in the idea and this story.“
