Lioness will have a season 2: Paramount Plus orders the sequel

Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman will all return.

After a first season of formidable effectiveness, the series Lioness confirms and will return for a season 2. Paramount Plus has announced that it has renewed the action thriller Taylor Sheridan for a second season.

At the casting, we will see return Zoe SaldanaLaysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Nicole Kidman as well as Morgan Freemanwho will have a more important place since he becomes a recurring actor in the series.

According to Paramount, the first season of Lioness set a new record by becoming, at the time, the most-watched international debut series on its launch day with a total of nearly six million viewers during its first week on Paramount+ worldwide.

“Paramount+ audiences rallied to follow the captivating story of Lioness. We can't wait to discover the new cocktail of suspense and action that Taylor Sheridan and the incredibly talented team of the series will concoct for us in the second season” comments the platform.

We do not yet know when season 2 of Lioness.
