Loki 2: what will Ke Huy Quan do at Marvel?

The actor who won the Oscars last March will play an “eccentric” TVA agent.

He arrives in the Marvel Universe with an exceptional aura. Oscar-winning actor Everything EverywhereData of GooniesHalf Moon d‘Indiana Jones, Ke Huy Quan will be present this fall in season 2 of Loki and he should have a surprising role.

In an interview with EW, executive producer Kevin Wright explains that his character will be introduced as the “eccentric fixer” of the Time Variance Authority. Loki and Mobius will enlist him in their team.

“His work at TVA is basically every piece of technology, every computer, everything that works at TVA. He either designed it or he fixes it and makes it work. He’s a technology expert.”

It was Marvel casting director Sarah Halley Finn who suggested that Ke Huy Quan joins the MCU for this role after seeing his performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

“I think Kevin Feige made a call right away, just begging him, ‘Please, please take the job!’ Little did we know, Ke was actually already a huge Marvel fan and a huge fan of Season 1 of Loki.“So, he said “yes” without being asked too much.

Season 2 of Lokidirected by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, will also bring back Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jonathan Majors.

This season 2 of Loki will be released on October 6 on Disney Plus.
