In LootMolly Novak becomes a billionaire after discovering the infidelity of her wealthy husband, John Novak (Adam Scott). The existential fluctuations of this deceived woman will animate this new rhythm of life, completely turned upside down by the astronomical sum. A charitable foundation, the Wells Foundation, will guide Molly towards the path of serenity…

The latter has sworn to no longer succumb to anything resembling a man. This second season begins a year after the conclusion of his publicized divorce. Will Molly manage to honor her promise and donate her fortune?

The creators of Loot, Matt Hubbard And Alan Yang wanted to address the philosophy of the ultra-rich, namely, how “their sense of morality can emerge despite the state of disconnection in which they may live.”

Season 2 of Lootwill be released on April 3, 2024 on the platform Apple TV+.
