Louis Leterrier wants to direct a Fortnite movie

“Because this game is incredible” assured the French filmmaker during the comic-con.

While he has just signed a big box of 720 million dollars with FastXand waiting for the next one Fast & Furious 11, director Louis Leterrier announces plans to make a Fortnite movie.

On the sidelines of San Diego Comic-Con, the French filmmaker confided his desire to adapt the famous video game from Epic Games on the big screen. “Because this game is amazing” he explained on stage, with another director, Justin Simien (via GamesRadar). “The characters, the settings… There are so many possible things to do. It would be funny. It would be action packed. It will be perfect.”

Donald Mustard, one of the bosses of Epic Games, said earlier this year that a movie Fortnite in live action could be a possibility. However, there are no official plans as of yet.
