M. Night Shyamalan Traps Josh Hartnett in Trap Trailer
A serial killer stuck at the concert of a pop star adored by his teenager? This is the new crazy story from the American filmmaker.
One year after the excellent Knock at the Cabin, M.Night Shyamalan is back with a new experience. Traphis 14th film, was designed as a closed-door session in a huge concert hall, with Josh Hartnett in the shoes of the nice dad… serial killer!
In the trailer which has just been released (below), we understand that he accompanies his teenage daughter to a pop concert by megastar Lady Raven, a sort of gothic Lady Gaga. In the middle of the show, he realizes that the police are everywhere. For what ? Because this concert was, in fact, organized to trap the “butcher”, a sociopathic serial killer who cuts up his victims. And precisely, the “butcher” is him!
It will be noted that M.Night Shyamalan also features his own daughter: the singer Saleka is Lady Raven and has composed new songs for the film (www.ladyravenmusic.com).
Written and directed by M.Night Shyamalan, Trap will be released on August 9 in cinemas in the United States.
