Machete 3 in space: Danny Trejo still wants to believe it

Robert Rodriguez has been beating around the bush for ten years. And Danny Trejo still wants to believe it! Machete 3, in spacewill it really happen one day?

Interviewed by The AV Club, the actor explains that Machete Kills Again… in Space still has a chance to happen:

“Please text Robert Rodriguez! The whole world – I’ve traveled the whole world and everyone asks me about this. I think Robert got scared because I was too good at it. I shone and (everyone) didn’t remember who the director was.”

A little joke which aims to remind the filmmaker that Machete 3 is possible, if he is motivated.

Machete Kills Again… in Space was teased in Machete Kills, the sequel to 2013. A second film based on “Grindhouse”, which starred Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Vanessa Hudgens and Sofía Vergara alongside Danny Trejo. An audience of stars which did not prevent the film from crashing, bringing in only 17.5 million dollars.

And like Robert Rodriguez recently announced that he no longer wanted to make violent films…
