Marina Foïs beats up in the trailer for Furies, John Wick-style action series
The ex-Robin Hood will play a relentless killer, opposite Mathieu Kassovitz.
It’s a genre we haven’t really seen her in yet. Marina Fois will play hired assassins, an underworld assassin, a John Wick-style gunslinger, in the new Netflix series: Furies.
Implacable and lethal, she is the “Fury”, who ensures a certain balance between the families who dominate Paris and its underbelly.
“Originally, seven Families ruled the Parisian underworld. But one of them – the Arago – was decimated by the other six who were fiercely jealous of it. Indeed, on that fateful day in 1928, while the family married off their daughter in a joyous atmosphere, the festivities ended in a bloodbath. The only survivor of the massacre, the bride, immediately widowed, demanded revenge, then renounced her place within the family. Olympe to guarantee its independence and exercise a form of justice in the environment. This is how the first Fury was born – a charge that is passed down from mother to daughter. Since that time, there has never been another war between the Families. Until today…”
Marina Fois will therefore be the Fury, opposed to Mathieu Kassovitzand mentor of the young Lina El Arabi (crossed in Family Business).
Created by Jean-Yves Arnaud and Yoann Legave, the series Furies will be launched on Netflix on March 1st.
