Martin Scorsese would like to bring Daniel Day-Lewis out of retirement (again)

Never two without three ? The filmmaker of Time of Innocence (1993) had already called on him for Gangs of New York, in 2004, after an 8-year break for the actor.

Awards season is in full swing in Hollywood. Martin Scorsese has just been nominated for the tenth time 10th for the Oscar for best director for Killers of the Flower Moon. A little before discovering this selection, Martin Scorsese was honored at the National Boards Awards, and he took the opportunity to say to the public attending the ceremony that he would like to work again with Daniel Day-Lewis.
