Mathieu Kassovitz reassures his fans: “Thank you, I didn’t know I had so many friends”

The actor, starring in Visions alongside Diane Kruger, gives his news after his motorcycle accident.

Visions is released in cinemas this September 6, 2023, and in full promotion of the film, the actor Mathieu Kassovitzwhich gives the answer to Diane Kruger, fell off his motorcycle and was seriously injured. He reassures his friends and fans in an Instagram story after his operation: “I wanted to thank everyone who called me, who sent me messages of support. Thank you very much, I didn’t know I had so many friends. (…) I fell off my motorbike, stupid. I broke my femur and my ankle. I’m in rehabilitation and coming out of surgery. (…) It’s stupid tonight ago Visions which is coming out at the cinema, I couldn’t go, I hope you will go.”

For his part, Diane Kruger had posted a tender message of support on Instagram addressed to his co-star a few hours earlier: “My friend….we’ve been talking about you for two days. Two days of anxiety. I see you everywhere in the street on the poster of our film. The day before it was released, I was moved. Moved to know that you will get out of it, even if it will be long and painful….I am happy that people who are going to see our film tomorrow (well I hope), can see you laughing and being mischievous how I loved working with you so much. Courage and see you soon”. The actress will have to carry out the rest of the promotion without the presence of her playing partner.

Visions is made by Yann Gozlanthe author of Black Boxand tells the story of Estelle (Diane Kruger), an airline pilot who has a perfect life with her husband Guillaume (Mathieu Kassovitz). When she meets Ana by chance (Marta Nieto), a youthful lover, Estelle is plunged into an infernal and destructive spiral. The film is currently in theaters.
