Meeting with Antoine de Maximy and Max Boublil, at the heart of I will die in the Carpathians

I will die in the Carpathians is a kind of movie “found footage” around the cult show I will sleep at your houseOr Antoine de Maximy (in front and behind the camera) imagines one of his shows going wrong.

A bet won for the director who succeeds, with this first fictional film, in rallying fans of his shows while entertaining neophytes thanks to his humor, a (little) suspense and also, it must be admitted, his casual charm. Between the lines, a relevant reflection on the images that we are constantly fed, somewhat didactic, but quite interesting…

We met him at the Angoulême 2020 festival, just before the cinema release of this funny conceptual comedy. He was with another actor in the film, Max Boublil.
