Michael Jackson biopic reveals first photo, filming begins
It’s Jaafar Jackson who puts on his own uncle’s costume.
Beat it! Fedora screwed on the head, little iconic moov’ with the lower body, Jaafar Jackson puts himself in the shoes of Michael Jackson, for the next biopic dedicated to his uncle. The film Michael Jackson will be carried out by Antoine Fuqua and on Instagram, the young actor writes: “The journey begins on Monday.”
Production will therefore begin on Monday January 22, 2024, and this first image is obviously taken from rehearsals. It already promises a striking resemblance.
The film, written by John Logan, should be titled simply Michael. Juliano Valdi will play the younger version of the singer, when he was in The Jackson Five. No other names have been leaked. Theatrical release in 2025.
