The release of Dune 2 is finally approaching (February 28 in France), and the wait is unbearable for fans, two and a half years after the first part. Especially since the sequel was initially supposed to arrive in theaters last November, before the Hollywood strike turned everything upside down.
The first reviews are in and Dune 2 is already setting America on fire!
The excitement is also palpable among the cast, who are promoting it all over the world. They finished filming Dune: part two end of 2022, and the public will finally be able to discover it. Enough to make the head of Josh Brolin aka Gurney Halleck, who shared an Instagram post where he summarizes the film with a shower of offbeat and hilarious references.
“Dune 2 comes out in less than two weeks!!! The robot girl (Zendaya) and Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) fall in love. So Elvis (Austin Butler) tries to make a mess while his dirty dad (Stellan Skarsgard) floats in a filthy pool. Guardians of the Galaxy wrestler (Dave Bautista) is super worshipful while Midsommar hottie (Florence Pugh) leers at Wonka Obi Wan after her mom (Rebecca Ferguson) gets caught doing LSD in a gym baths full of sand. Chigurh (the character played by Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men) still doesn’t like the guy from The Goonies.
I mean, who doesn’t want to see all this in IMAX???
The pandemic is over. Strikes have come and gone. Shit. It’s time to fellowship again and experience that awesome feeling again, when the lights go out, your hand is buried in your popcorn worm, and Dune 2 consumes you.“
