Millie Bobby Brown can’t wait to finish Stranger Things and move on

The star wants to say “thank you and goodbye” to the series.

Tired of her life in Hawkins, Millie Bobby Brown is ready to move on. In a lengthy interview recently published by Glamor Magazine, the star of Stranger Things announces that she will have no regrets at the end of season 5, which will conclude the series.

“I feel ready and I’m like, all right, let’s tackle this last senior year and get out of here. Because Stranger Things takes a long time to film and it stops me from creating stories that excite me. So I’m ready to say thank you and goodbye to the series.”

The actress is not ungrateful however and assures that she is grateful for the role, what it has given her, “the tools and resources to become a better actress. And then when this ends, I’ll still be able to see the people in the gang.”

By the way, Millie Bobby Brown don’t forget the pressure that comes with a hit like Stranger Things and the backlash she faced when she was just 13, accused of “trying to steal the spotlight” from her co-stars when she accidentally spoke about them in the media. “We’re kids, we talk to each other. I got slapped on the wrist for talking too much, sharing too much and being too loud. But it’s hard to hear that at 13. After that, you don’t want to never express yourself. I don’t want to be a loud person. And during the interviews, I couldn’t help but think about all the comments that were going to follow. So I just remembered to stay quiet and talk when we spoke to me, even though I was dying to participate…”

The season 5 finale of Stranger Things is expected next year, on Netflix.
