Monk is back: the trailer for the film of his “last investigation”

Mr. Monk’s Last Case will reunite the entire original cast and premiere on streaming platform Peacock for the holidays.

He did not changed ! Monk is back, still embodied by Tony Shalhouband he will lead a new investigation, his “last”, according to the title of the streaming film Mr. Monk’s Last Case. The trailer reveals a glimpse of the cast, which includes the return of most of the actors from the cult detective series from the 2000s.

Traylor Howard (his assistant Natalie Teeger), Ted Levine (his best friend, and police captain Leland Stottlemeyer), Jason Gray-Stanford (who has played Lieutenant Randy Disher since the start of the show) and Hector Elizondo (his therapist, the Dr. Neven Bell) will be there.

The pitch: “Monk returns to solve one last, very personal case involving his beloved stepdaughter Molly, a journalist who is planning her wedding.

The creator of the show, Andy Breckman is at the helm, surrounded by executive producers David Hoberman and Randy Zisk, who directed.

The film Monk will be released this Friday, December 8 on the Peacock platform (which does not exist in France).
