All joking aside, did Donald Glover really need advice on playing Mr. Smith? This new version deviates a lot from the film of espionage, the relationship of the couple being not at all the same as that shown previously. It was this big change that pushed the duo to accept the challenge.
“People have a certain idea of what it might be, because Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a popular film, but the tone will be very different”, he promised last month. Information confirmed since, as the show ultimately evokes very little of its elders.
