Goodbye Brangelina! Mr. & Mrs. Smith have a new face. Donald Glover And Maya Erskine are the new heroes of the action saga, 20 years after the 2005 film. The story has been somewhat modified, as shown in the trailer and reveals two agents on a mission, who do everything not to fall in love during their fake marriage:

The official synopsis states: “Two lonely strangers are recruited by a mysterious agency which offers them a radiant life of espionage, wealth, world travel and a plush apartment in Manhattan. The trap: a marriage arranged under the false identities of Mr. & Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now married, John and Jane must navigate high-risk missions every week as their relationship takes new steps. Their already delicate cover becomes even more complicated when very real feelings develop between them. Which will be riskier, espionage or marriage?

Donald Glover (already creator ofAtlanta) co-developed this new version with Francesca Sloane.

In the cast, we find a nice cast of supporting roles: Alexander Skarsgård, Eiza González, Sarah Paulson, Sharon Horgan, Ron Perlman, Billy Campbell, Úrsula Corberó, Paul Dano, Michaela Coel, John Turturro, Parker Posey and Wagner Moura.

Series Mr. & Mrs. Smith will debut on February 2, 2024 on Prime Video.
