Ncuti Gatwa takes his solo debut in this musical extract from Doctor Who

The 15th Doctor will be entitled to his first mission during the upcoming “Christmas Special” for the end of year holidays.

Now it’s his turn! In the final minutes of the special “60th anniversary” trilogy of Doctor Who, David Tennant passed the torch to Ncuti Gatwa. The 15th Doctor is now in office and we will soon find him for his first solo mission in a special Christmas episode entitled “The Church on Ruby Road”.

We are already discovering Ncuti Gatwa in action in this extract which shows the brand new Time Lord, accompanied by Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), on a mission to a lair full of goblins. Along the way, we are treated to a little song, “The Goblin Song”, as the tiny creatures prepare to feed their goblin king with a human baby.

“The episode sees the Doctor come face to face with the mythical and mysterious goblins as he crosses paths with Ruby Sunday”, announces the synopsis. “Little is known about Ruby Sunday, as she was abandoned on Christmas Eve as a baby. Now living with her mother and grandmother, her world is about to turn upside down when she meets the Doctor…”

THE Christmas special 2023 of Doctor Who will be broadcast on December 25 on BBC and Disney+ in France. Trailer :
