Netflix has found Raël! The incredible documentary delivers a lunar trailer

The story of Rael: the Prophet of Extraterrestrials, told by his followers, his detractors, and the guru himself!

It’s a sect that has just celebrated its 50th anniversary! No Rael is not dead. He wasn’t taken by the aliens. The latest news is that he lives near Okinawa in Japan. And Netflix has tracked him down for an incredible documentary which will tell the story of Claude Vorilhon, a former singer and journalist born in Allier, and who one day founded the Raëlian Movement.

Classified as a sect by France since 1995, it claims that extraterrestrials are at the origin of humanity and that the “Elohims” must return to save us.

According to the trailer that the platform has just put online, the documentary will tell the origins of the sect, through its followers, its detractors and Rael himself, now aged 77 and who was interviewed for the occasion. “Everything is planned so that the movement does not stop when I disappear” said Rael in this video, which reminds us that the sect has even gone so far as to practice human cloning…

Rael: the Prophet of Extraterrestrials will be available to watch on Netflix from February 7.
