Netflix's new Lara Croft is revealed: first trailer for the animated series Tomb Raider

Hayley Atwell will be the voice of this brand new series entitled Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.

Lara Croft is back. And she has changed! Netflix has just revealed the first trailer for its new series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, which will take place in the trilogy of the latest video games. We discover the face of the archaeologist heroine, who will now be voiced by the Marvel star Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter).

Along the way, we discover the release date: Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will arrive on Netflix on October 10, 2024.

The cartoon will take place in the universe of the Crystal Dynamics games saga, started in 2013 on consoles.

“Following the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy (Tomb Raider in 2013, Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 2018), the series “animation tells the story of the next adventures of the globe-trotting heroine who takes on the role of the iconic grave robber she is destined to become” teases the official synopsis. “Twenty-five years after the first game, Lara Croft continues to explore unknown lands.”
