A reinterpretation of the 2005 film in The Americans style?
When Jane meets John… Mr. and Mrs. Smith have a new face for Prime Video in this new event series, a reinterpretation of the 2005 film, which features Donald Glover And Maya Erskine in place of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The new trailer sets the tone and promises a spy series that will be more reminiscent of the series The Americans than the blockbuster with “Brandgelina”:
In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith“two lonely strangers get hired by a mysterious agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel and a dream apartment in Manhattan. The problem? An arranged marriage with new identities as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now married, John and Jane execute a high-risk mission every week while facing a new milestone in their relationship.
