News from season 2 of The Diplomat

First images have been revealed.

Surprise hit from last spring on Netflix, The Diplomat is already back in business. Season 2 is being filmed and images of the new episodes have been revealed by the platform, in a short video teasing 2024 (see below).

Incidentally, we learn that the actress Allison JanneyOscar winner, will be in the casting of this second season to play Vice President Grace Penn.

In the continuation of The Diplomatafter Kate Wyler was sent to London as US Ambassador to the UK, “she will have to defuse further international crises, forge strategic alliances in London and adapt to her new place in the spotlight – all while trying to survive her marriage to fellow career diplomat and charismatic political star Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell).”

Season 2 does not yet have a date but will be released in 2024 on Netflix.
