Nicolas Cage could take on the Spider-Man Noir costume

If it is the production of Silk: Spider-Society which is attracting all eyes at the moment, especially with the outcry caused by the dismissal of the entire team of writers with the exception of the showrunner Angela Kanganother series from the spiderverse is making headlines: the one which will have Spider-Man Noir as its hero.

We learned in February 2023 about Variety that the narration of this live-action series (which does not yet have a title) would be set in the corrupt atmosphere of New York in the 1930s, “in its own universe and that the main character will not be Peter Parker”.

But who to play this taciturn hero? According to The Ankler, “Nicolas Cage is in serious talks to play the lead role in the series.” Although Sony has not yet confirmed this information, this choice would not surprise comic book fans: it is a character to which the Oscar winner had already lent his voice in the very popular Spider-Man: New Generation in 2018. Cage is also a regular at the recording studios for comic book films, he who also lent his voice to Superman in Teen Titans GO! to the Movies.
