Nicole Kidman far from home in Expats: trailer

A new event series for Prime Video.

While waiting to find her in season 2 of Nine Perfect Strangers, Nicole Kidman continues his career on the small screen. From Big Little Lies in 2017, the former film star multiplies the television projects and will soon be showing inExpatsa new prestige series from Prime Video.

Based on the bestselling novel by Janice YK Lee, the story tells of the “vibrant and tumultuous tapestry of Hong Kong, during the year 2014. Three American women whose lives intersect after a sudden family tragedy. The series questions privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimization and guilt becomes blurred.”

Expats will be a six-part miniseries. The first two episodes will be seen on Thursday January 26, then a new episode every week. Lulu Wang (The Farewell) is a creator, director and screenwriter.
