Ninja Turtles: Gérard Darmon lends his voice to the rat Splinter (trailer)

Audrey Lamy, Fianso, Alison Wheeler… Other French personalities are added to the voice cast, to listen to below.

This was one of the events of the 2023 Annecy Animation Film Festival: Ninja Turtles – Teenage years hits theaters in less than a month. The French voices have just been revealed by Paramount, and there are several personalities, starting with Gerard Darmon. The actor of Asterix and Obelix Mission Cleopatra plays the rat Splinter, the father of four young Ninja Turtles raised in the sewers of New York.

In this new animated film directed by Kyler Spears And Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines), the story focuses on the adolescence of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael, and their meeting with April O’Neil. Together, they will have to fight Superfly (played by the rapper Sofiane Zermani, aka Fianso). “After years away from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic deeds”says the synopsis.

In the casting, we also find Audrey Lamy as Cynthia Utrom, who wants to create an army of mutants. Alison Wheeler is the Wingnut Bat, Mr Octopus a warthog named Bepop, Jerome Niel interprets Mondo Gecko, the comedian Marc Antoine Lebret plays the mutant Rocksteady. Anne-Claire Coudray, she lends her voice to a journalist in the film.

The four teenagers are doubled by Jean-Stan Du Pac (Alone), Alois Agaesse (My ninja and I, Ferdinand), Arthur Raynal (Dexter: New Blood) And Kylian Trouillard (Bigfoot Family).

Ninja Turtles – Teenage years hits theaters on August 9.
