Oscars 2024: Zendaya, Al Pacino, Brendan Fraser… the list of presenters revealed

The Academy reveals part of the casting for the ceremony, which promises an evening rich in happenings around presenter Jimmy Kimmel.

Everyone is champing at the bit about the outcome of the Oscarswhich are preparing to reward the biggest public and critical successes of the year 2023.

The Academy has decided to raise the stakes of the ceremony, which will take place next March 10by revealing part of the list of presenters of the golden statuette, who will be led by Jimmy Kimmel. This Monday, we learned that the winners of the 2023 edition Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quanwould be joined among others by Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o, Sam Rockwell And Zendayawho is just finishing the promotion of Dune 2.

Yesterday, representatives of the Academy completed this list with the names of Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton, Regina King, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate McKinnon, Rita Moreno, John Mulaney, Catherine O'Hara, Octavia Spencer And Ramy Youssef.

But the biggest event of the evening will undoubtedly be the reunion of part of the cast of Scarface (1983), cult gangster film by Brian DePalma. Al Pacinowho lent his features to Tony Montanaemblem of pop culture, and Michelle Pfeiffer, his on-screen partner, will present an award together more than thirty years after the film's release. A painting that will surely overshadow others happenings of the evening, even risking stealing the show from Ryan Gosling and his interpretation of “I'm Just Ken”.

Moreover, the actor of barbie will not be the only one singing along on stage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. Billie Eillish And Finneas O'Connell will perform a live version of “What Was I Made For”a title which earned them the Grammy for Best Song Written for a Film (Barbie, always) on February 5.
