Paris has Fallen: first images for the sequel to The Fall of the White House
Canal Plus will broadcast this co-production led by Tewfik Jallab, who takes the place of Mathieu Kassovitz, initially announced.
The action film franchise, The fall (Has Fallen in original version), will continue with a fourth French opus, in Paris. After The White House fallof London and Presidentwe will soon discover that of Paris in Paris has Fallenwhose filming has just started in the capital.
Studio Canal unveils the first images of this original creation, written by Howard Overman. We find there Tewfik Jallab (Black Hearts) who will play the leading role. The French actor takes the place of Mathieu Kassovitz, initially announced, alongside Ritu Arya (Umbrella Academy), as well as Sean Harris, Emmanuelle BercotAna Ularu, Camille Rutherford, Jérémie Covillault and Karl Collins.
The pitch: “French protection officer Vincent Taleb and British MI6 agent Zara Taylor join forces to thwart an attack on the Defense Minister during a reception at the British Embassy in Paris. As events take a dramatic turn, Vincent and Zara realize that the plan orchestrated by terrorist Jacob Pearce is much broader and targets the highest levels of the state. Under increasing pressure from Jacob who is always one step ahead, will Vincent and Zara be able to prevent Paris from falling into the hands of this man thirsty for revenge?“
Paris has Fallen will consist of 8 episodes of 52 minutes, directed by Oded Ruskin (episodes 1 to 4) and Hans Herbots (episodes 5 to 8). The series will be broadcast on Canal +. No date yet.
