Patrick Stewart has ideas for Star Trek: Picard

He would like Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker in Next Generation) to direct it.

Shortly after the end of his series Star Trek: Picard, Patrick Stewart reveals in his memoirs that he would like to make one last film in the saga. Explaining that he liked the finale of the show, broadcast at the beginning of the year, the 83-year-old British actor writes in Making It So: A Memoir : “This is probably the end of my character, but you never know. I’m kindly pushing Paramount to let us make our movie Picard. Not a movie about The new generation, since we have already shot four of them. It would be an extension, an in-depth development of the universe that we showed in Star Trek: Picard.“

In season 3, he also reunited with some of his playmates from the 1990s series: Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Troi (Marina Sirtis), Worf (Michael Dorn), Data (Brent Spiner) and Geordi (LeVar Burton).
