Paul Thomas Anderson will very soon begin filming his new film, with Leonardo DiCaprio

Production will launch at the end of January 2024.

Three years after the excellent Licorice Pizzahere it is again Paul Thomas Anderson. The 11-time Oscar-nominated filmmaker (for 0 trophies!) will launch production of his new film on January 21. It doesn’t have a title yet, but it has a headlining star: Leonardo DiCapriofreshly out of Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese, will play for the first time in front of the camera of the director of Magnolia (1999), There Will Be Blood (2007) or The Master (2012). He will respond to Sean Penn And Regina Hall.

Absolute secrecy surrounds the film, which will happen “in a contemporary setting“. According to Deadline, it is “the most commercial project attempted by PTA with a substantial budget“.
