Fans of The Last of Us anxiously await season 2. But Pedro Pascal may have just dropped a huge bombshell! During a recent interview with Deadline, the actor was asked about the fate that will be reserved for Joel in the sequel to the HBO series. And he suggests it might be different from the original video game storyline!

According to Pedro Pascalthe creators of the series Craig Mazin And Neil Druckman could have surprises in store for viewers: “I think they will always find ways to build on the incredible source material they have, to surprise us! I believe they can use this material (the games) in a different format.” suggests Pascal who tempers: “But I don’t want to spoil anything and in truth I don’t have all the information yet…”
