We were able to visit the filming of the series a few months ago, where Igor Gotesman and Pierre Niney detailed the genesis of the project for us:

Before Cast(s) (the Canal+ shortcom) I suggested to Pierre (Niney) to write a series on a film set. The idea has been lying around for a bit and only recently came back to light“, explains the director. Pierre Niney, who also co-wrote the series, adds: “We wanted to talk about the hierarchical and intimate relationships that make up a set. It’s a place where comedies and dramas are played out: there’s money at stake, stress, some are gambling with their careers, others not at all…

Pierre Niney will be supported by a great cast with, in addition to François Civil, Pascal Demolon, Louise Coldefy, Géraldine Nakache, Djimo, Leslie Medina… and Vincent Cassel as a surprise guest!
