Action ! Pierre Niney becomes Raphaël Valande for Netflix. This young idealistic director has a head full of images, but will confront the brutal reality of the profession, the hazards of a set, the whims of the stars and the hassles of a shoot which will turn into a Fiasco… Trailer :

“Raphaël Valande begins filming his first feature film: an adventure crossing the ages from prehistory to the landings via the Vikings… to pay tribute to the heroic life of his resistant grandmother” teases the synopsis. “But quickly, problems accumulate and the filming gradually turns into a nightmare. And for good reason: someone from the team is trying to sabotage his film from the inside…”

Co-created by Pierre Niney in person, with his comrade Five, Igor Gotesman (Family Business), Fiasco brings together a host of French cinema stars. Around Niney, we find François Civil, Géraldine Nakache, Pascal Demolon, Leslie Medina, Louise Coldefy and even Djimo.

Released April 30 on Netflix.
