Disney unveils the West Side Story star in the legendary yellow and blue dress.

After Halle Bailey in the scales of The little Mermaidit’s the turn of Rachel Zegler to put oneself in the shoes of Snow White, for Disney’s next live-action film. The studio unveils the very first official photo (published by The Hollywood Reporter, in which we see the future princess surrounded by her 7 dwarves… all in CGI.

The image in question suggests that the dwarves in this version will be more like fantasy creatures, with exaggerated features, including noses or ears. The cast actors will certainly play these characters in motion capture.

And if Disney delivers this photo today, it is to convey bad news: the release of the film Snow White in live-action is postponed from March 22, 2024 to March 21, 2025, certainly due to the actors’ strike still underway in Hollywood.
