Ryan Gosling to sing “I’m Just Ken” at the Oscars

After much speculation and quite a bit of discussion, Ryan Gosling will indeed put on his Ken outfit for the Oscars 2024. The actor of barbie will take the stage to perform “I’m Just Ken” on March 10 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Variety points out that until a few weeks ago, the Academy had not asked him to perform the song. Obviously, things have evolved on the organizational side. Perhaps for fear of seeing barbie leave empty-handed and be completely skipped from the evening?

Remember that “I’m Just Ken” is nominated for “Best Original Song” during this 96th annual ceremony of Oscars.
