Salaar: intense teaser of the new Indian blockbuster with the star of Baahubali

The teaser for the highly anticipated pan-Indian movie Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has been unveiled. In 1mn45, he has already created the event.

The official teaser for the new film by Prashanth Neel just got out. We find there the coveted actor of the Indian public, Prabhas (The Legend of Baahubali), who signs here his first collaboration with the director. He tells us that the film will be released in two parts, the first being entitled “Ceasefire”. The first images will however have ignited the Internet: some already consider it a blockbuster. And for good reason, producer Vijay Kiragandur supported the project under the banner of Hombale Films, with an unprecedented budget and a five-star cast led by Prabhas with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu And Shruti Hasan.

Salaar promises to be a high-intensity action flick… to say the least, given the early violent scenes in the teaser. His eponymous hero, gang leader, “tries to keep the promise made to his dying friend and decides to avenge him from rival gangs“, informs us the synopsis. The film would be connected to the successful saga KGFmuch to the delight of fans of Prashanth Neel’s cinematic universe.

“Rebel star Prabhas is ready to show his fiercest and rawest form in Salaar, pushing his limits as an actor,” the producers said in a statement.

Salaar does not have a French release date, it will arrive in Indian cinemas on September 28, 2023. For the most impatient: Salaar 2 is set to begin filming in December.
