Season 3 of Lincoln Defense in filming: first photos

Netflix has just started production on the sequel to The Lincoln Lawyer.

A few months after the broadcast of season 2 (last August), Netflix has just started filming season 3 of The Lincoln Defense. Production has officially started and the first images of the new chapter of The Lincoln Lawyer are online via Deadline.

We see in particular Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in the company of Neve Campbell.

At Deadline, co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez specify that this third season will begin with a flashback exploring how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller:

“Although season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer is based on Michael Connelly’s novel The Gods of Verdict (published in 2015), we decided that a fun (and poignant) way to approach the season would be via a flashback sequence that would give us a glimpse of how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller. Not only the brilliant criminal defense attorney, but also the husband, father and man he would become…”

No release date yet on Netflix. Season 3 of The Lincoln Defense will be seen in 2025.
